The Trolley Works offers tours in several different formats. Be sure to check what tour will be offered during your trip to Hershey, as tours are not available year-round.
The History and Chocolate Tour:
(only available from Labor Day - Memorial Day)
- A delight for you and your sweet tooth! The inspiring story of Milton Hershey and his model town unfold as you indulge in an abundance of the chocolates that made him famous. The conductors are entertaining, informative, and loaded with candy! The tour lasts about 60 minutes and usually includes a stop at Founder’s Hall, the focal point the Hersheys’ legacy.
The Trolley Adventure:
(only available Memorial Day – Labor Day)
- An unforgettable entertainment experience! Two actors bring the story of Milton Hershey to life in a most unusual way. Guests not only see the town, but meet some of the most interesting people in Mr. Hershey’s life. The show is 45 minutes long.
The Christmas Adventure:
(only available during Christmas Candylane)
- Guaranteed to get everyone in the Christmas spirit! All the magic of the season unfolds as two actors bring the story of Hershey to life with a Christmas twist. There’s caroling, jingling, and even a visit from a certain jolly, old, elf who has presents for everyone on the nice list! It’s a popular family favorite that runs 35 minutes.
The holiday season is very busy and show times and availablity are subject to change. We suggest that you call ahead to find out when Christmas Trolleys are running and place a reservation.

Trick or Treat Trolley:
(only available Fri-Sun Evenings during Halloween in Hershey)
- Brand new for fall 2011, Hershey Trolley Works unveils its newest tour, an evening trick or treat journey down Chocolate Avenue and up the hill to see all the lights of HersheyPark, with an entertaining show on board. Hershey's history comes to life in the uniquely entertaining trolley way, plus there's lots of candy (but nothing spooky).
Due to limited seating, guests are encouraged to purchased tickets upon their arrival to Hershey®'s Chocolate World. Trolley tokens may only be purchased the day of the tour. Each token is valid only for a specific time.
