Hershey Trolley Works Summer Auditions
Mohler Senior Center
Thursday, March 31st 2022 from 5:00-9:00
In order to audition, you MUST register for the audition using the Google link below. And you must bring a conflict calendar (for June, July, and August) to the audition.
For the audition, you will sing You Are My Sunshine and you will read from our Original Trolley Show Script.
The Trolley Show is a 45-minute live performance concentrating primarily on the fascinating story of Milton Hershey. Actors sing and tell the story of Mr Hershey and his chocolate empire by portraying different characters from Milton Hershey’s life.
The season runs from Saturday, May 28th to Monday, September 5th. Shifts usually consist of 4 or 5 shows back to back. Most new performers will be scheduled for 3 or 4 shifts per week. Rehearsals begin in April and will be scheduled around the already existing commitments of the cast.
WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED
The new cast will be expected to work Memorial Day Weekend,
July 4th weekend and Labor Day weekend.
The performers we’re looking for should be clean-cut, in good health, and have a pleasant, outgoing personality. Singing ability is a must. A wide-open summer (schedule-wise) is a plus and will be a factor in casting.
The pay is competitive. We start our performers at $14.00 per hour.
The benefits are many. As a performer, you will be honing your skills in the most demanding of theater experiences. You will be working together with young people from all over the region and, in the process, developing friendships that last a lifetime.
